So you have just sat down, ready to have your most productive day ever. You feel you can take on the world. But then you blink, fast forward and you check your watch and it’s the end of the day. You scan down your to do list and see the same 20 things facing you that were there 8 hours earlier but none of them have a line through them. Added to this your inbox has mushroomed to double the size and 15 things are waiting to jump onto your to do list first thing tomorrow. Does this sound familiar? Well if it does, you are not alone, this is the daily cycle for many. So what can we do? Are there ways we can break this cycle to maximise our creativity and have really productive and fruitful days? I believe we will be at our most fruitful in life when we understand and have a balance between our Call (our purpose), our Care (looking after ourselves) and our Creativity (what we produce & form). Over the next few weeks I am going to take each of these areas and look through the lens of how we can ‘do less’ by simply increasing our focus. So in this ‘insight’, I am going to start with creativity, and simply share 10 ‘quick wins’ that you can use to boost your creativity by focusing more and ultimately doing less. Let’s go👇
